Your new trusted dog nanny in Tower Hamlets and Hackney
If you find that your dog doesn’t benefit from being in big groups, then you’re at the right place!
At Temple Of Dogs, we like to keep our pack small, but not our standards. You’ll never find your dog in a group of over 15 pooches at a time because we want to offer a safe space for the more nervous ones.
Sacha, the owner, has a background in veterinary nursing, trained as a dog trainer and is currently studying to become a licensed canine behavior practitioner. So you can feel perfectly relaxed leaving your fur baby in her care.
Services
What you can expect from doggy daycare:
Opens early and closes late ( 7:30am to 7:00pm )
Pick up/Drop off at your door available
At least one hour walk ( adapting to the dogs needs )
Both physical and mental stimulations
Photo and video updates
Small groups to make things easier for the nervous ones (8 dogs max)
Scheduled rest and nap time
Regularity for a safe, familiar environment: Minimum of 1 day/week attendance so the dogs all know each other
You can also board your dog overnight whenever needed.
Spaces are very limited and require advance booking.
We only board dogs that are part of the daycare pack, so they can be around familiar pooches and people.
Dog walking will soon be offered in Tower Hamlets and Hackney, for those who feel like a full day at daycare might be a bit too much.
Dog training will also be offered as a feature included in daycare, but also to dogs who aren’t a part of the pack and just need a bit of support and guidance.
About
Temple Of Dogs was born about 6 years ago, when Sacha, the founder started working as a student nurse in a veterinary clinic. Looking after cats and dogs she knew from the clinic quickly started to fill all of her free time.
After working more hours than is humanly possible during the Covid lockdown, a physical and mental health break was very much needed. To take a bit of time away from all the pressure that the veterinary industry had put on her, she decided to take a remote admin job.
This is when looking after dogs quickly became a second full-time job, and soon enough, it was the only job that really mattered. After all, who wouldn’t want to love and look after a bunch of happy dogs?!
The vision
From the very start, there was a big focus on dogs that weren’t able to join regular daycares because of all sorts of behavior issues they might have. Special care for special dogs has always been the moto.
And because of that, Sacha is currently studying to become a licensed canine behavior practitioner, so that eventually we can offer a lot more than just daycare for special pooches and their special owners.
The goal is to keep things small, to help socialize and give a more personalized care to those who don’t always fit in big crowds.
